Keep calling Monday-Friday but when called back ...call does not go through

same thing happened this morning and the message left was by a mr. king, to resolve the matter i must call back. there is no matter to resolve as far as im concerned.

The company did not identify itself.Called my office or home phone. Had my office number on caller ID, but did not have it in their database as related to a "case file". Asked for other numbers to try to identify me. I never gave my name and they did not ask. When I asked who they were, they hung up on me! I could hear man other people in the background...like it was a call center.

I got several calls last week; since I didn't recognize the number I waited for it to go to voice mail (standard operating procedure for me with a cell phone). No messages ever left. No calls from them in the past few days. I'm just waiting until I come up again in the cycle.

I don't see what telling the person they're calling who they are has to do with personal information? They're using a spoofed caller ID in violation of federal law... THAT's why they don't want to say who they are. Said another way: They're SCAMMERS.

I have been getting these calls recently. People have asked for my father and sister. I have personally asked to be removed from this list because I will not pay someone else's debt. I owe them no money and they have no business harassing me

Spoofed number from some especially sleazy bottom-feeding debt collector attempting to con or intimidate me into making a payment on a disputed credit card balance long past the statute of limitations. They buy up these accounts for pennies and hope to exploit people.
