received call from 405-555-0199. caller id listed as "DIR ASST OK".automated system. wanted to speak to "stephanie smart", press 1 if this is, 2 if it isn't. when pressing 2, press 1 if i need more time for "stephanie smart" to come to the phone, 2 if "stephanie smart" is unavailable, and 3 if they've called the wrong number. pressed 3, system hung up.feels scammy to me.
I just got a call from these people too, asked for some other person and said they were from a dynamics legal team? They also left the weird message saying it was very urgent that I call back.
Called this morning at 7:30 and immediately put on hold, was repeatedly told "your call is important to us". A woman with an extremely thick accent and broken speech picked up asking for a name I couldnt even make out. Hung up when I asked who it was. Anyone got an ID on who owns this number?
I received same message. I called back and also received message about sprint 411. I do not answer callas that are unknown and never will. I have been scammed before and am doing my best to never be scammed again!
At this point it wouldn't matter anyway. Debt has Statue of limitations so if u have not done anything with the debt since 2001 I'd have to be dropped of your credit anyways!!!!
We received the same call from J. Allen Smith of the Office of DRS with same urgent message. I agree that it doesn't sound legit. I don't know who they want but it's not us.They can talk to the answering machine all they want...

I called Citibank's other number and confirmed this was their Consumer Support number. It is legitimate. Processed the information they needed to verify my account. I originally thought it was fraud but it is real.

We receive calls at our place of business from these people every day and they claim to be with Spectrum. It sounds like a call center in India; noisy background noise and each person who calls has a strong accent.
