Didn't answer when they called. Voicemail recorded the automated message which mentioned lowering credit card interest rates, press 3 to have your number removed or press 1 to talk to a representative. Called the number back and the recording said this number is not in service, please try the number again or press 611 for customer service.
This is my cell phone number and they are eating up my minutes with their unwanted calls. I have bad eyesight and cannot read the caller i.d. so I'm stuck with these robo calls. I did file a complaint with the national do not call list website.
And they've called again ... yesterday @ 2:04 p & 6:43 p - no message 1st time - line silent - but 2d time a robo-call. Credit card - urgent - etc. I'll report again for what it is worth.Just got 'FLORIDA' call this afternoon - this time callID shows 321 304 9999 - another spoof? All I can do is keep reporting, and hope others benefit somehow.
I usually don't answer unfamiliar numbers, but I did today, it was a recording from Rachael who said it was about my credit card, there was no problem but i should call them and they can give me a better rate, after I GIVE THEM MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER. Do people fall for this
Keeps calling to have me take advantage of something. I have asked that I be deleted from their calls.
Got another last-half-of message on the answering machine from 407-480-9999. I can't wait for this one to come in when I'm home. I'm going to press #1 and start hyperventilating: "Credit card? Interest? Do you mean that jerk took out a credit card without telling me?!!?? How did he DO that? What did he do now? STEAL AN IDENTITY?!?! We're in BANKRUPTCY!! Like we don't have enough trouble!!! AUGH!!" and see how fast they hang up. With any luck that'll get my number deleted. ;-)If you can't beat-em, have some fun!
Automated call...this is an urgent call about your credit card, there are no problems now; this is our third call, you won't be given this chance again; if you would like to lower your interest rate to 6.5% press 1 or press 3 to no longer receive these calls.I pressed 3, but I doubt that will stop them :(
