I have been receiving calls and when I ask to have them take me off the list they just hang up and I get another call the next day. The calls stopped for about a week and now they are calling again. Makes me really bothered, wish someone would stop this.
Can someone please get these people to stop calling????!!!!! I mean WTF?One guy after I pressed 1 tried to hang up on me and instead put me on hold, he then answers like he did expecting a new phone call. When I said 'You just tried to hang up on me" and he says "oh let me try that again". I think I miss heard him and say "you're gonna try an hang up on me again?" he says,"For sure." And hangs up. What a DICK! They absolutely don't care
This is an MCI/Tracphone #. The guy buys these in small blocks and uses them up, then moves on, so the numbers can't be blocked. I found a # the the Tracphone management office and called them (866-234-4357). I told the woman that I'm receiving the same robocall from "Rachel" several times a day, each time with a different Tracphone number, so its impossible to block it. She said there was nothing she could do about it. I asked her if they started getting dozens of calls a day about this guy if they might do something then. She wasn't sure. Lets find out. Give them a call now: 866-234-4357.
Got a call at 5:53pm today Jan 4, 2012. ID says FL, USA. I don't answer my cell if I don't see good info in the caller ID.Funny thing about this credit card scam is that they would call me at all, I went through a bankruptcy last spring, and I don't have any credit cards. They must be randomly dialing cell phone numbers.Everyone be careful, never, ever give out your credit card numbers or social security numbers to anyone calling you!!!
I received a phone call from this number also. Same thing about lowering credit cards debts and this is the last and final chance to get a lower interest rate on my credit cards. It states to press 1 to speak to an operator, but I knew already that this is one big scam as they call from different numbers and the same exact recordings. They don't call once either they will keep calling you. If you press one the operator hangs up on you. If you call back "sometimes" if you are lucky you get a recording with a guys name on it saying that the voice mailbox is full and to call back again. This is ridiculous already! All I will say is DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION TO THEM! Its the easiest and simplest way to protect yourself and call your credit card company and notify them that you are receiving these calls.
I got the call at about 11:00 AM EST 1/4/12. I let the message play thru and then pushed "1" to ask them to remov me. The guy hung up on me !!!!!
