I've been receiving a call from this number for at least twelve months. The person, who calls "herself" "Rachel," claims there is nothing wrong with my credit card account. I have attempted several times to return the call, but each time the "machine" (similar to an actual person's phone call machine when they are unable to immediately receive your call) says that "person" is unavailable.

Its a scam so you give them your personal information. Don't answer is the easiest way!

Just called my cell phone. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. I'm sure they are some scam credit card service company. I have gotten several calls from a variety of numbers the last 3 months to my cell phone. I haven't answered any since there is no Caller ID displayed.

I got a call from that same number on my CELL PHONE just a couple of hours ago. Claimed to be credit card svcs. They wanted to "lower" my monthly payments blah blah blah. Press 1 to talk to a live operator to do just that..so I did..thinking ok I'll tell them I do not make "payments" I pay in full and take my # and name off your list. When the lady (and I use the term loosely) answered, as soon as I told her I did not make payments she hung UP on me! I called the 407 702 0538 # back and got a recording that they were not accepting calls right now, to try back later. That is when I decided to call my credit card company. I was told I should never ever have received that phone call, as I am a customer who does pay in full and on time. The guy gave me another # for my credit card company for fraud services. The man I spoke with there really could not help me, but said that call did NOT originate from them, and that I was correct, I have never done business with them via my cell phone #. I traced the call to Orange Florida, carrier is Mci Worldcom Communications, Inc. That's all I've learned so far. I'm wondering to whom I should report this officially, and what that number would be. If anyone knows, please let me in on it. Thanks.ouizee

On 3/1 I got call from this number on my pay as you go on do not call list call phone. I did not answer and no message was left.

It is such a scam! I don't have any credit cards and they called and said the same thing you mentioned. I asked them what the company was of my credit card they were referring to. They said "credit card services". So I said, "You mean I have a credit card from a company called Credit Card Services"? They hung up! Such a scam! Glad you posted!

They called me on my cell phone, claiming they wanted to lower my monthly fees. Press 1 to see about the lowering of the monthly fees. I pressed it just to tell them to take me off their list, as I do not make monthly payments, nor do I use my cell # for my credit card business transactions; I pay in full and on time every month. As soon as I told that to the woman who answered, she hung up on me. I tried calling the number back, but got the message that they were not taking any calls at this time.Then I called my credit card company and asked them if this were a legit call from their company...no it was not. The man I spoke with gave me the number for their fraud prevention svcs. I reported it to them, and gave them the phone number that called. They couldn't do much about it though. Since I'm concerned, I did do a reverse number look up and traced it to Mci Worldcom Communications, Inc. in Orange, Florida. I do not know if they are legit or not, but have a strong feeling they are not legit.
