If the caller ISN'T from Chase, then explain why it is that after consistently receiving calls from this number up to 4-5 times per day for 10 days, that the calls cease the very same day my payment posts to my account?Stop avoiding your obligations people. Yes it's chase trying to collect a debt problem is they call multiple times a day and if you tell them you talked to someone earlier they claim not to have a record. they keep calling even after arrangements are made. worse they make promises about what to expect and they deny that is what was agreed to. burn call cards associated with chase
They've been calling for a couple of weeks, and lately 6 or more times a day. I checked on it after the first call and don't answer, though now I do pick up and immediately hang up to shorten the process. If the machine answers of course no message is left. They did think to enter 'Chase' as their caller ID name, so anyone could be fooled at first. Amazing that this has been allowed to continue this long; I see complaints from 2 years ago.
If it's chase why don't they call the number they have on file for me? The number they're calling is used for my alarm system and not given out.
Have received countless calls from this number over the past week. We have Chase accounts but everything is paid in full each month. If this was to reference to a late payment, non-payment or issue with a credit card/account, a message would be left. We have had many card numbers stolen over the years and every time, a message was left. If we had suspicious activity, a message was left. If this was truly Chase, a message would be left. When you call back, the message says it's Chase Card Services and asks for your credit card number. Never give your number. Call the phone number on the back of your card. Even if you get a call from your bank/credit card company, you can ask to call them back at the phone number on the back of your card before giving any info out.

I called Citibank's other number and confirmed this was their Consumer Support number. It is legitimate. Processed the information they needed to verify my account. I originally thought it was fraud but it is real.
