Stop this. In today's environment how can we NOT stop this?

I am called by this number 3 to 4 times a week. If I don't answer, they don't leave a message. If I do answer, they hang up. Caller ID shows "Public Interest Communications. " I am on the DNC registry.

I've gotten calls from this number once day, for the past week. I don't answer numbers I don't recognize, and they haven't left a message. It's annoying and on that comm. website (if that's who it is) you have to input all of your info, which I don't feel comfortable doing. What a pain.

Another ACLU call, but they were asking for a neighbor with the same last name. They must be getting names and addresses, then calling any numbers that match a phone database search. I suggest finding out who the current charity is that they're chumming for, call that organization and get them to cancel their PIT contract

Actually, Dave, when you give to a non-profit over the phone, a large percentage of your donation goes to the call center. I started asking, when I got a call from a non-profit I donated to, what % the call center received. I was shocked to find out it was at least 35%!!! You are better off mailing a check directly to the non-profit; that way they receive 100% of your donation.

Yep...I just started getting this number popping up...I have contributed to Public Radio and never had had any issues until then...any connection, perhaps? Nobody is ever on the other end...annoying.

Profits will get affected by blocking crap so it continues. They are too fraudulent to fail.

Rang twice and hung up before I could answer.

This caller has been calling daily now for weeks. On some days he are calling 2 -3 times. On one occasion he was asking for me specifically but did not leave a message other than he was calling for me. I don't know who this is and I want the calls stopped. My phone Caller ID indicates that the caller is "Public Interest".
