Getting calls from this number at least once a day. No message.

I get several of these every day.

based on what I see here I save the call under the name "Shifty Charity Scam" and I will never ever be answering this number.

They call at least three times a day even though the number is blocked. I never answer unknown calls so I have no idea who they are or what they are soliciting for. I no longer make any kind of donation over the phone. So, what do these jerks want?

This number calls in the morning afternoon and evening. Rings just 3 times. Say it is PUB INTEREST CM. will not anser. Have turned it in to my NO CALL LIST. Hopefully they will stop bothering me at all hours.

I've received a number from this call every day for the last week. I see some people posted about it happening after looking for Amazon products, Kindle, etc. I downloaded some music and a film in the last week from Amazon. But someone mentioned it's a non profit, I've made several donations to various charities in the last month. Either way this is BS. My cell is also my work phone (partly why I don't pick up if I don't recognize the number, I get lots of calls from contractors and vendors looking for work). So when I see a number that I don't recognize I don't pick up because I always figure if it's important, they will leave a message, but this one number has not been leaving a message, even though they've been calling once or twice a day every day for a week like clockwork. It's REALLY ANNOYING AND DISRUPTIVE! If it is a non profit I won't be giving them to because this practice is not conducive to me feeling generous!

I just blocked them with the free TrueCaller app for Android.

I've had 7 calls from this company in the past month and a half, midafternoon or dinner time.

So I finally picked up today and it turns out they were calling from Oxfam. I told them I'd been called every day, once or twice a day, from this number for over a week and that I am on the Do Not Call list. I said as a policy I do not make donations when it is solicited by a phone call. I told her I'll donate when I do, and do not want to receive any more calls to solicit further donations. I asked to have my number removed off the list and I hope that will be the case. I'm pretty disappointed in Oxfam I have to say. I've been a supporter for decades. If you must make calls for get donations, surely once or twice should be enough. If no one is picking up stop calling! I guess that's the problem with US numbers, there's no way for the caller to know if they're calling a cell or home phone and getting those repeated calls on my cell phone (that is also my work phone) is extremely irritating.

I donate regularly to animal-rights organizations and other NPOs...but when I start getting phone calls from any of these groups or their hired robo-calers, I immediately: 1) stop donating, and 2) write a note on the donation form that comes with their printed solicitations (which arrive every week in our mail) explaining why I'll no longer donate to their cause. Then I send the note back in their own postage-paid envelope. Nasty, maybe, but it seems fitting for organizations, even non-profits, that use a phone service I pay for to intrude on my privacy. Maybe if we all do this, they'll get the message that calling is not okay! Several groups--most recently, the WWF--have stopped calling since I began doing this.
