I just went to the website found in an earlier post.Checked out the CLIENT LIST, it includes the American Civil Liberties Union, Amnesty International,Mothers Against Drunk Driving, Democtratic National Commitee, World Wildlife Federation, and many more that most of us on this site have given donations to. Bummer.
Although I am on the do-not-call list, this telemarketer called me almost daily in Sept-Nov. 2007. I never answered and they never left a message. I thought they finally gave up, but today they called again and left a 'message' - scratchy background noise with fragments of words (probably a recording), and then a male voice asking for me by name. Please someone do something to stop these pests!

THIS DOES NOT SOUND LIKE A TYPICAL TELEMARKETER. DO NOT RESPOND TO ANYTHING OF THEIRS. IGNORE THEM AT ALL COSTS. THIS COULD BE MORE DANGEROUS THEN IT LOOKS. Telemarketers want to sell you something they will talk to you. If these people are hanging up thats not a good sign.Telemarketers have peak hours to call so they can make a sale...not all times of day a thousand times. Remember they want money at any costs they are not going to hang up all the time on you.Telemarketers do no want to talk to children. That is creepy. They want adults with money.I wouldnt give them any of your information. They could be stealing your identity or worse. Ignore this call at all costs. Report it to a NO CALL list or perhaps call your local safety department and ask them for advice.
hang ups, no message, constant calling, over a period of weeks, still going on..have reeived about 10 calls so far.
I don't want to see this phone number ever again on my missed call list on my cell phone. Where did they get my number and why are they calling me? so annoying people.
Just a call at 2:00 PM to my cellphone...they hung up. Nothing else. Weird. After reading this post i'll be aware to look out for more calls from them....
I've gotten two calls this past week from this number on my cell. I don't answer, because I don't recognize the number, and they don't leave a message. Just figured I'd add my experience so there's a public record of it.
