Sunday afternoon, four rings, then nothing.

I called and they said they entered my number on the do not call list.

I feel so honored to be among the very many whom this outfit telephones. I get so lonely. I'd have money that I don't know what to do with. I like nothing more than to write a fat check to some non-profit to do with as they see fit. I never hear from them until it is time to hit me up again. What they did with my last voluntary contribution is never described. Probably built a second yacht for the group's CEO.

It seems a lot of telemarketing companies have sprung up with a new technique - catering to Non Profits. That way, they can call themselves non profit - although they personally are "for profit" and get by the "no call" list/law that way. How disturbing that needed organizations hire these scalpers to help them bring in donations.

I get many calls from 412-622-7387 they leave no message.

Exactly the same experience as everyone else. No voicemails and I am registered on the do not call list.

Just got the call myself. What we all should do is e-mail the actual organizations that these folks are telling you they represent. The true organizations (Defenders of Wildlife, and other good animal, environmental supportive groups) do not hire telemarketers to do this work, you can donate online and you can also send them (and the heads of their organizations) e-mails as well. If nothing else, set up a free e-mail address somewhere if you don't want to give your regular one out. PLEASE do not stop donating to good causes because of some idiot company. Animals are defenseless and voiceless without us helping them. It's not their fault and the companies that we donate to do not resort to this type of tactic.Take care all and please continue to support those who cannot speak for themselves. My wife and I are really sick of the repetitive calls from this 412-622-7387 number. A reverse phone report lists this as a Verizon company land line in Pittsburgh and gives an approximate location along Fort Pitt Blvd. around Market St.. Zip code is 15213. Calling the Public Utilities Commission can be helpful if they are inundated with complaints. Maybe this three river area will flood and they will be floating down the Hades river to hell.
