My mistake in my previous post: the number 415 669 5685 was in Inverness CA, not Bremerton WA. Sorry.
Just one more SCAM. Reported it to www.donotcall.gov (complaints section ) - This usually takes care of these types - just plain crooks trying to pull off phone scams.
Received a call, no message left, from this number today. Thanks to others for posting about it.
I keep a boat horn near the phone to blast unwanted calls since the callers don not comply with the Do Not Call Lists.
Calls on a regular basis. No messages. Don't answer phone #'s you don't know and they eventually just go away. Caller ID is perfect for this stuff. I get about 4-5 calls a day from people or robo's I don't know.
Look on Amazon and get a call blocker. They are great. I've already blocked over a hundred that can't call again.
