This caller has been leaving voicemails in Chinese for weeks. When I finally block one number, they call from another one. So annoying! So far, they’ve called from: +1 (415) 852-5938, +1 (415) 852-5900, (415) 852-5590, +1 (415) 852-3263, (510) 129-4979, and maybe more. Always a recorded message left in Chinese. Thank you to the poster who posted a translation of their dealings with this number!
Yup, I had the similar experience. I had to dial 2 to speak to a liver person, and when I did, a man spoke in Chinese and asked me for the reason of my call, I replied (uh.. you called me...), he then asked for my name, I felt that this might be a scam, said I'll call consulate myself and hung up. Now with this post, I definitely know it is a scam. So thank you.
I told them I am a US citizen, will pass the phone number to FBI for this economic scam.
Just got a call from this number on my cell phone
I did as well this morning. Left a voicemail in Chinese but I couldn’t understand it.
robocaller scam -- keeps phoning. Blocked
Thanks for taking time writing this. My feeling is that it is a scam. Transferring to police station is unnecessary but an usual tactic used by Taiwanese/fujianese (both are chinese) scammers.
This is helpful, thank you.
I got the same call. Recorded message in Chinese. Google shows number as Chinese Consulate in SF

Why is this number and extension #145 on my phone?????
Scam. An attempt to get bank account information and then a request to transfer money to the scammer's account.
I called Frontiers official phone number 1-800-921-8105, the agent I spoke to gave me this scammer number, they pretend to be frontier and offer a rebate and ask you to provide your bank account info to “send” the rebate. I hung up
Got a text from “SpeedX” from (844) 866-3737 stating that my delivery is on its way. It’s not clear what that is. I’m just a person not a company. It stayed to verify my address. Nope. The url seemed legit but didn’t click on it. Reverse ... read more
They got $14.95 from me for a product they were selling for $9.95 but the charge showed $14.95 on my credit card. I have never received anything yet.
