Just received a call from area code 416 233-0047 Jan 22nd 2009. A female and asked for me by my name and said she was doing a survey for the ROYAL BANK. Informed her I wasn`t interested and hung up. Deleted the call with Shaw.
I got a call from 416-233-0047 on June 7, 2011 at 5:32 pm. The caller asked if he can speak with Berhanu. When I said, "who is calling?", he hunged up.
I got a call from this number at about 6:40pm (Jan 29, 09). I picked up and there was no answer so I just put the phone down...
came home from work today to find this number 416 233 0047 on my call display.. not once but 4 times. UGH!!!! And I'm on the Do Not Call List.
Got a call from this #. Went to answer machine. No message. What ever happened to the National do not Call list they are suppose to abide by. GRRRRRRRRRR!!!
I work at RBC and they do conduct customer service surveys which are handled by a third party caller- however this should only happen if you have visited an rbc branch recently- as it is a survey to to see how your most recent service was. Although, this number seems very strange because if it was real, then they wouldn't be so secretive about why they were calling and rbc should have been able to confirm the number (i would assume). either way, they have called me the past two days and ive missed it both times, they havent left a message, and when i try to call back it is always busy. based on this and everyone else's responses, I don't believe this is a real survey and definitely not from a place that is affiliated with rbc.

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.

Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.

Call identification states Rocket Mortgage. Never call back a call without checking number first. Never take the name on caller ID to be the true caller.
