We did receive this call today. We didn't answer.I found on Google that "Market Probe Canada" is a market research company. I'm not sure if it's really them but it would make sense. It's probably a survey. Since the surveyors always call back later when they don't get an answer, we'll answer next time and say we don't want to participate. I'll come back to tell you how it went.
Didn't identify themselves. Hubby answered and they asked for me. When asked what they wanted they said they wanted to do some sort of credit report for a bank... Pretty fishy! Gut instinct says to beware.Looked up the number and learned it was Market Probe Canada

...and you expect a telemarketing agency conducting a SURVEY, on behalf of a client (phone, utility, shop-at-home whatever), to look here at 800notes.com to do the work, you need to do? I applaud the gravitas of the statement. You have failed to grasp how they work, and your role. Put your number on the national Do-not-call list. Then call these people back, and ask that you not be called for ANYTHING from this firm. IF they ignore you and try to survey again, then change phone providers, and block their number.

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.

Call identification states Rocket Mortgage. Never call back a call without checking number first. Never take the name on caller ID to be the true caller.
