STOP CALLING ME! I DIDNT SIGN UP FOR YOUR CRAP I LIVE IN IOWA AND DONT TRAVEL QUIT CALLING OR I WILL HUNT YOU DOWN AND STRANGLE YOU
I had a call of the same nature. I did sign up to win a free trip to Branson at a local festival. Got a call 2 months later, saying the free trip was given away, but that only 3 entries were drawn to receive the trip for 80% off. That would cost me $139. She went on for a while about all the stuff included in the trip, and how we MUST attend Stormy Point. I said I don't know - is there any info they can send me on this (I wanted to see if it was legit). She said, Well, you have to take the offer while we are on the phone. I did not, and after reading this forum, I'm glad I didn't.Beware people who want your credit card info during a phone conversation in which THEY call YOU.
417-339-1260. Yep! Went to the Blueberry fest and signed up to win a Jeep. Said we may not have realized we signed up at the booth next to it. Yeah, OK!
Just got a call from this # & found you all. I haven't entered any contests/raffles/etc. for @ least 8 yrs., never used this cell # or any other for any either. Some of these types of places will ask people for any friends name & # who might be interested in return for some 'extra' they'll give them (another dinner free, show, etc.) Some tell you where they got your #, some don't, how 1 place got our home #, I could have smacked our friend!I think this phone # has been around a long time for different timeshares in the Branson area, it's the # I put in our phone book (still in it) when we went w/ friends in 2005 to a TS in Branson they own. This was the # my daughter @ home had to call to be connected to the condo we stayed in if she couldn't get ahold of us on our cell phones. The 2 presentations we went to lasted closer to 3 hrs both times both times & we were interested in buying 1 but not after the pressure they put on! Won't go to 1 ever again. But for those better @ getting out faster, it's well worth the $139, the places we stayed were beautiful & got everything promised & no hassling for not buying, had no further contact or pressure from anyone trying to get us to buy the rest of the wknd. 2nd one we went to wasn't the same deal of an overnight stay there, didn't pay anything to them to go, got free airfare to a choice of places for attending. To KC...if you haven't gotten the anything in mail from them, they keep a list of people who have not used their vacation offers & don't let them tell you they don't! We know someone who worked at a timeshare offer place & said every co. has to keep a list of payers & amount paid for tax info. You should be able to call them & get your vacation, especially if you have proof you paid for it & times you called to tell them you didn't receive any papers they sent. Probably doesn't help but the 1 place we went, the papers they sent us in the mail looked like a junk mail offer.
I wish to no longer be bothered by the 2-3 calls per day from this 'unsolicited' caller.
I haven't been to Branson in years, have not signed up for anything and received a call from this number several times today, I just blocked it!
Damnit. Signed up for a car at world of wheels in milwaukee and already getting called lmao. Wonder how many people they actually manage to scam by cold calling.
YOU have to call THEM to use the package and set up the trip, you tell them when you want to go and they give you a confirmation number and you go. If you pay them and never call them back that's your fault...why don't people just LISTEN to what the person says on the phone...LISTEN PEOPLE! You have TWO ears for a reason!!
