I don't care who is on the other end of the calls. But if they don't leave a message I don't call them back.Even w/caller id, no msg... its like they never even called.
I've gotten several calls per week for the past month. I've never answered. I, too, signed up to win a car over a month ago. Would never have traced it back to that if I hadn't read the posts.
Just received (5:30 P. M. CST) a call from 417-339-1260 and when I answered it there was no one on the line. Will be blocking this number from my phone.
Signed up to win a raffle for a SMART CAR at the Dallas home and Garden Show. Everyone gets the call for the timeshare discount. Who ever gets the call that they won the car? That's what I wanna know. It's just a lead-generator, I think.
It's a scam. It's paying a supposed 80% discount on a stay at a spa (that probably costs five times what it should) and then an invitation to listen to a sales pitch on a time share, which is the biggest scam ever invented. I said "no interested" and the jerk on the other end said "Well, enjoy paying retail."
Been getting text messages from these bozos since the Home and Garden Show in Lincoln NE...signed up for a chance to win a free trip or free SUV. I wouldn't pay these people any money...
