It appears this is a landline belonging to Electric Power Board of Chattanooga TN - which explains why these scammers only call late evenings and never leave a message. It more than likely is a spoofed number and attempts to call back would be fruitless.Never do I answer calls from numbers that are unknown to me or callers who don't leave a message!

Number called, answering machine picked up, woman said "hello?", then "hello?", then "hello?". I couldn't help myself so I picked up the phone and said, it's an answering machine, you are supposed to leave a message. She said, "oh, sorry" and then hung up. Geez, not the brightest cookie in the jar.

I usually tell them I have been in touch with the Federal Trade Commission, the Consumer Protection Agency and the FBI, which I have. They usually hang up and don't call back.

Calls in the evening, hangs up when message starts. Yes it is getting very annoying.

this person continuously calls during the day and we never answer. Now tonight they called at 9:00 pm. The dam nerve....I am sick of these calls
