I just don't answer them - they can't argue with silence. You can't get blood out of a turnip and there is NO reasoning with blood sucking roaches. My sister likes to answer it tells them I'm at the spa, or the golf course - I think it's funny.Also, answer the phone and blow a whistle in their ear. Or do a blood curling scream then hang up. It will release some of your tension and give them a taste of what they deserve.
first called today at 11:40 A.M. didn't answer and they did not leave a message. i have plenty of debt, but all are paid up to date and there is no reason for a collection agency to be calling me.
Buy a whistle and answer the phone every time a restricted or known collector tries to harass you and just blow the whistle into the phone until they hang up. Don;'t say anything, just pick up the phone and blow the whistle over and over. Trust me, they will eventually stop calling you. And even better, they eventually will put you on a no call list. ;)
Need this number to stop calling my phone. They call at 700 in the morning and late at night.

Some one calls from this number in Bellevue WA repeatedly asking for personal information stating it is for an upcoming high school class reunion. I live the town where I graduated from high school and know there is no such reunion.
They called w/ a generic message, was I this person, 1 for yes, 2 for no. I hung up. Then they called & identified themselves as "Kelly Smith".
