He called me twice today saying he has a "loan" from the US Government for Education. I wouldn't have to ever pay a penny back. I asked him if he knew the definition of a "loan" and what the difference in a loan and a grant/scholarship. I hung up on him and he called back 3 times. He knew some information about me that was a tad unsettling. He tried the Microsoft scam on me about 3 months ago and I made it very clear nothing in my house is made by or run by Microsoft. After 4 attempts he left that one alone.

My stupid husband gives these people info when they call about student loans, I want to kick my husbands but so bad...how can anyone be these stupid????????????

Wow, haven't heard from these guys in a year! Promptly hung up after the first line about them being from "Windows service center." Yeah right. Sheesh, do enough people really fall for such an obvious scam that they manage to stay in business?

I keep getting calls from the same Indian man that says his name is Steve. He said their signals are showing that my computer has an emergency and it needs to be fixed or I will lose all of my information. We hang up and he calls back. He called my number 20 times a row at one point. Some of the caller ID said "anonymous" and some said "private caller". I put a block on those types of calls and didn't get any for about 5 days. I thought it was over and then low and behold, we got a call tonight from 1-425-668-9652. This is getting personal now and my husband is getting pissed off because this guy keeps asking for "your wife", which is me. It's too bad the "normal" citizen doesn't have any recourse for these idiots. My husband told him not to call back or he'd be calling the police. So far so good, about an hour now without a call.
