This personn tell us he work for windows services, is true ?

Received a phone call from a person claiming to be from a Windows service center. I asked his name and he didn't give it to me but went on to claim that my computer was automatically sending them messages telling them that my computer had been compromised and that many files were corrupted. I thanked him and told him I would have it checked.

This moron phoned this morning well before 6am. This time using the spoofed number: 15-668-9652. (By Leading with that "15" number, it revealed an obvious SCAM was the plan!). We never answer calls like this! Besides, all my family and friends have already "FOUND" their names, and we know what they are! :-)

Sept 12, call from this number, heavey indian accent claaiming to be from Microsoft and that my system had been compromised. I hung up!

Called here at 6:44 A.M. today!! A Mid-Eastern accent woman said " I'm calling about your computer problem" I said "Do you know what time it is???" and she said " Yes, 6:44 a.m." I said " We don't have a computer problem and remove this number from any list" We'll see...

I just got a call from this number. The man said he was calling about my computer. A friend of mine told that a scam place called her so I said I don't have a computer hoping they would stop calling. The man said don't tell me lies. I said I'm not lying. He started to say listen here and that's when I hung up.

I received this call from and man who called himself John Matthew, he had a very heavy accent. Sounds like the man all of you had calls from. I did believe what he was telling me and got on the computer and logged on with my email and password. I was following his instructions until it came to a screen where my husbands information was needed because he is on as the owner. Luckily for us, I don't know my husbands password so he could not continue. John asked when my husband would be home that he would call back. I was concerned about the harm he had said our computer was downloading so I asked him what number my husband could reached him at. He gave me this number 1-201-616-0612 (Jersey City) The number on our caller ID is the 425-668-9652 (Bellevue Washington) Again, Luckily for us my husband contacted the technical support he deals with and warned of the scam.

Phone has been ringing in the mornings. I usually ignore them. Picked up phone today. The usual lag of a telemarketer call, so I hung up just as they got on the line. Could hear a bank of phones in the background.

I received this call as well but the first thing I did was to ask him politely to remove me from the call list as soon as I did that, he started with the threats to me and my family. Saying that people from Iraq will be killing me and my family. I live in Alberta
