I just got a call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft Windows Serviced Centre wanting to give me a refund of $299US for services I did not use.. All I needed to do was to fill out a form. I asked for his number and he gave me something completely different from what I got when I used *69.

Picked this one up accidentally ....person from India answered claiming he was calling about my ' Windows ' ... told him I didn't have any windows ... shocked he then exclaimed " You don't have any ' Windows ' ? .... Then told him I live in a ( bleep bleep ) cave so of course I don't have any ( bleep ) windows ... with a couple of other choice words to follow ... and then I hung up As I've said before here .... if they're gonna waste your time ... and they are ... you might as well waste theirs now and again and have a bit of fun doing so

FYI - Blocking this or any Phone Scammers phone numbers ;HINT - Its pretty much a waste of time as they re-spoof their numbers at least once a quarter from what I've noticed lately ... just either don't answer ..... or have a bit of fun if you do .. and don't waste time blocking numbers that in 90 days or less will no longer be valid anyway

Please file a complaint on line with the Federal Trade Commission . It works

Caller very aggressive and intimidating. shouted at me to turn on my computer immediately and follow his instructions. I refused and told him I did not believe he was from Microsoft as he claimed. I hung up and he called right back and was threatening to block my computer and making it crash. Then whenI asked him what my name was he gave me a name of a person that had this phone number many years ago. he continued to rant and be very threatening about his ability to destroy my computer remotely, I hung up and called the Microsoft service center and was informed by then that this is a scam. DO not allow this to continue.

Just got a call from 425-668-9652. The Middle Eastern/Indian(?) man said that he was from Microsoft and that my computer had been infected with something. I listened to what he had to say but did nothing. Then when he asked "ok, what do you see on your computer screen?" I said "nothing, I want to hear what you have to say first, then contact a department that investigates these things and I will call you back." He promptly hung up! DO NOT DO ANYTHING THESE PEOPLE SAY!!! SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!

Call your phone provider they can block this # I just did with frontier .

I'm in Indiana. Got a call this morning from this number. Said my computer was infected. I told him it's working fine, and he said, "are you saying I'm a fool?" I said, "No, i'm just saying there's nothing wrong with my computer," then hung up on him. Very heavy Indian accent.

Caller said something was wrong with my computer as well. However, the heavy accent made it impossible to tell what they were saying.
