Televendeuse parlant anglais (avec un fort accent) disant être "a shipping company" voulant de toute évidence vendre des services ... rien a voir avec microsoft.
Support for your firm? Are you referring to your mattress? Far more likely than microsoft calling you. Tee Hee. You guys are funny; stupid but funny. Thanks for the laugh.
Even if it is, that doesn't make the calls legitimate. You see there is this amazing thing known as caller ID spoofing and it has been used in order to trick people into answering the phone. But based on your comment, I suspect you work for those behind these calls.
This number is not a telemarketer. Call back # for Microsoft overall. Valid/confirmed the number with my MS rep and called it back a few minutes ago.
Received a call from this number, but I did not pick it up and no one left a voice mail. I feel if it had been a professional, they would have left a voice mail. Glad to know I did the right thing by investigating the number online.
This call really was Microsoft Tech Support. The woman calling was Indian (most tech support these days is from there). She was following up on a support ticket I opened 2 days ago.
I just purchase an hour ago a product worth $!,200+++ Online Microsoft, .Then afterwards 30 minutes later, i received a caller from my caller ID for another number that I never called. this is the original number who called me and left me another number to call.. It shows Microsoft on my caller ID with is number...... These hackers to use my credit card since I recently had confirmation from Microsoft having no problem with my order having been shipped already via fed-ex,2 days. and they don't do this. The question now is how did they obtain my order number and phone number??? Microsoft online customers should be protected from these scammers or hackers. I paid with my credit card for a purchase of $1,200 ++.. I never called them or they might further confirm my credit card number +++ Bank account to>>> bankcrupt me. Careful Online customers or youl' be ssoooossssssssssooooorry!.
So I just had someone trying to FaceTime from email emmak25839@outlook.com. This was at 10:45 at night.Researched and guess what, the person's information showed at John Smith. (Mentioned in a previous comment) the IP address was also the same as another commenter and call originating from Redmond, WAPhone number 4258828080, same as the other comments in this thread. No way is this Microsoft. Obviously the number has been spoofed. My father continually gets calls and once even followed directions from them where they were attempting to take over control of the computer remotely to fix his "problem" which he was not aware of. Omg, they just install software to record keystrokes looking for passwords and credit card numbers etc to steal from you. I don't think he was able to follow their direction and he told them to call later. I told him not to ever go along with that again, but they keep calling over and over. All times of the day and night. Now I'm getting calls too and now this attempted FaceTime thing! Yikes!!!!!
