Keep getting calls how do i stop them from calling

dont worry about these clowns.. they dont have a clue, just set your phone to deflect your calls, and thats all she wrote.

You can report them to the federal trade commission (FTC) for callling you at work after they have been told not to do so. It is against the law to call an individual at theier place of business if you tell them not to. It is also illegal to call you before 8 am or after 9 pm, at any number. You can also report them to the proper authorities in whatever state you live in but you'd have to do some online research to find out who that might be. The harassment they give you is not allowed, and you can get back at them. If it gets bad enough, I used a lot of fowl and degrading language on one with a few racial epithets thrown in. They never called again. Sometimes you have to be as nasty as they are to shut them up!

They called saying our company name and that they represented Verizon and that it was urgent...our Verizon account is current so no clue...called twice in past two days...

Yes they do!!!!! Its called fishing, to see if youll bite and pay money just to get them to leave you alone.

just the typical scammers. know your court rules and sue them for the following causes of action1) pulling your credit report2) misrepresenting status of said debt. (its not collectible for various reasons)3) they pretend to be a lawfirm when they are not. they are just a debt collection company that probably is not even licensed to collect. in my state, that carries a $25,000 fine. 4) numerous TCPA violations, which is $500 per circumstance, $1500 if you can prove willfullness and not having prior consent5)abuse of process.. on and on and on.. Check your local court rules.... there is probably more. I just thought of these off the top of my head.

To the FREAKS that work for these companies, GO ROT I know you read this now and then and your a big problem leaving messages that i have to pay for in minutes to listen to, it almost seems you are to make the cell phone companies money (um thats a though) ever wonder how they managed to get YOUR NAME and NUMBER, the cell phone company is the only ones who know my name and cell number , besides my husband and sister. well when they sell off my info then it only goes deeper. My cell is for emergencys only and i have a sick person in the family, i have to listen and delete 3-4 messages EVERY DAY from two numbers 714-497-4556 and now 440-735-5100 UP YOURS, by the way some of you left your e-mail addresses on the site?

Wow seriously now, this number calls me every day...no wonder.

To my knowlege I have no important, pending, business matters in the state of Ohio. Jerks!

Here is an idea. Pay your bills on time and you wont get calls like this
