After I received an email from the BBB I got a call saying That anything I say could and would be used against me in a court of Law. Bellow is the email that was sent to me. On 8/13/09, the company informed us that they would no longer participate in BBB Binding Arbitration due to the fact that it likely conflicted with their voluntary 3/31/09 Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing. Irrespective of their rationale, they are declining to honor their prior agreement to the Dallas Better Business Bureau to participate in future arbitrations, the normal sequential step in our dispute resolution process. Because of this, we are re-evaluating Idearc Media’s Accreditation status with us.Because we are awaiting further response from Idearc Media, we are not yet prepared to take any further action on your case. However, we do need to inform you that the potential option of offering you arbitration does not appear viable. Yes this company is a Commercial Collection Agency but they do not do telemarketing.

Keep receiving calls on my cell phone from this number - I don't answer and they leave a message. They do not identify who they are calling for - just that I should return their call and give a case number. Reading what people are saying about them, it seems like they have a wrong number or are just trolling to see what they can catch. I've had collections in the past, and the legitimate ones identify who they are calling by name and state, "this is an attempt to collect a debt." Should I continue to just ignore them, or actually answer it one time and see what they say in person?

A lady I believe she mentioned her name to be Ms.Gray was a very rude lady that called. This company has been calling me for the past year asking me for a payment in the $200 range. I do not owe this debt, they would not provide me any proof that they claim they have, I agreed to pay debt that I do owe after receiving proof. Ms.Gray however got very nasty and said I don't have the time to fax you proof, she said to me "you know you owe the debt, im looking at the proof" when I request for a copy of the proof she was looking at she got even angrier and said that she'll just mark that I refused to pay and will take legal actions against me, which would cause me more money. I understand that it is the right thing to do if you have been provided with proof and yet still refuse to pay, I however did not receive any proof and she is threating me to ruin my credit and told me to hire an attorney that will cost me more. Basically trying to put me in a situation where I had no choice but to pay, I still however did not and now will not pay for this because she was not only a very rude, lady but she expects to collect money from me without any proof. I also did research about this company and these guys approach people that do not even owe money and bother them.These guys deserve to be placed out of business they believe their some gangsters that can go around pointing a legal gun at you and collect money.

Hi i have the same problem as all of you people, why don't we just create some type of union that will cover us , Yes i do have some debs just like every hard working American citizen i did pay all of my taxes since i come to USA and steel do this till now, i owned construction business for 8 years now it down to nothing , but any way is there any lawyer company that can create some type of union to protect us , please HELP US , I'm weary sure that if you can offer some type of membership you guys will get a lots of customers. Harrasment call looking for my son. He supposdly owes money.The mans name who bothers me is Richard Strop. He is a smart [***].I spoke also to a supervisor Kevin Zaders who will supposdy stop the calls.

We had what started out as an automated call with a synthesized voice saying that if I want to hold for the next available operator to press '1'. After pressing '1', I got another recording saying all representatives were busy. It was interrupted by a woman named 'Precious' asking for 'Accounts Payable'. Her extension is 2289. Although this was a call for one of our clients, I thought the area code looked odd, so I did a search and found all your comments. I will be letting our client know this is probably a false claim.

Getting calls for Sean (Shawn) Ayers (Ayres), who had this number before us; we've had it almost 5 years, and I keep telling anyone who calls that it's the wrong number, and no, I don't know him, never knew him, don't ever want to meet him.I have a cease and desist letter that I send to anyone who calls looking for anyone but the people that live here (there are only 3 of us). Once you send a c&d, it is illegal for the company to call (although the company can sell to another company, and they can start calling). I'm so sick of these people...a few times, I have actually screamed at the top of my lungs into the phone. They don't like that. Go figure. BUT, they don't listen...If the c&d doesn't work, file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission Bureau of Consumer Protection, and also your state attorney general, as well as the attorney general wherever the company resides (in this case, Ohio).I really really REALLY wish there was a way to get "rid" of these people!!!!!!!!!
