They are not collectors!! They are JUNK DEBT BUYERS!! They purchase old debts for pennies on the dollar and then attempt to collect on them! They use scare tactic to coerce unknowledgeable peopele to pay them. Send them a Debt Validation Letter, make them prove that you owe the debt and that they have the right to collect it.
Close you bank account ASAP, NEVER, NEVER GIVE THESE SCUMBAGS any of your banking information!
I've received 2 calls over the past 3 months. However I don't answer numbers I don't know. I looked up the number online and found this, so I just saved the phone number in my phone as spam caller and will never answer it. Problem solved as I don't own anyone anything.
Actually, there is debt forgiveness in the bible it is called the year of Jubilee and every 7 years all debts owed were forgiven! So, no we won't burn in he'll sorry. It was actually the tax collectors of that time that were considered the lowest of society lol!
The MCcARTHY, BURGESS & WOLFF, is also harassing me for couple of weeks. They are located in Cleveland, Ohio.440-735-5100 Adam ext 2381. He couldn't find our business in their system or our phone number. Yet we get an automated call every day several times a day. Adam said if I could get the code at the end of the message he might be able to help us. We need to find out why they are calling and if they cannot find us in the database they could keep on calling.The caller ID says 1-253-348-2667 in Tacoma, WA.
I fist ask them who they are and what its in reference to. If they fail to properly identify and lie about who ther are, i place them on my whistler list. Whaen they call over and over i give them my whistler welcome by lowing my whistle as hard as i can in phone. Can you hear me now? Stop harrassing,1 call will do and being a debt collector gives you no rt to talk trash to me. Good day!!!

It is a legit PNC Bank phone no. I wrote out a $12000. check and they called to verify and had the last 3 digits of checking acct. on message.
