Mrs. Johnson of McCarthy, Burges, Wolfe has been calling my place of employment. She is calling my supervisor as well as his supervisor. I requested that she stop calling my place of employment bust she will not stop.I need this agency to stop harrassing me and my superviors at my place of employment.
I got a call today wanting me to call back. The reason I fill that they wanted me to call back was so they could argue with me and it would not cost them as much. I called back and said come on lets talk it is not going to cost my long distance anything. I have VOIP and long distance is free. He did not want to argue after that.
I received an automated call from a company calling themselves, McCarthy, Burgess, & Wolf. I did not recognize this name or company so I did an internet search & found these postings. I do not have any unpaid, overdue debts so I have no idea why they are calling me.
Despite being on the "do not call" list, I receive a call from this number (McCarthy Burges..) every evening. I have no outstanding debt and believe that since being a new tenant with a fairly new phone number, that this msg is intended for a former tenant. No matter, it is intrusive and illegal and I want it to stop!
if the debt is valid they must provide you proof or validtion of the debt, they are third party in order to collect they must also mailed you a letter to tell you that your debt has been sent to a collection agency
This company has been calling for over a year now, I've asked for a written contract to prove what they claim I owe, they keep offering to settle for a reduced amount but have not submitted anything in written form, they have both my home and business address, also both phone numbers but insist on calling my Home. I've filed a complaint with Louisiana's Consumers affairs office, my case # is k67023 any recommendations on how to stop this besides paying for a debt I do not owe? Thanks Ron
We received a call that went to our voicemail. When we listened to it , there were no names given, only a menacing voice demanding that we resolve some business issues with them. Then an automated voice came on and left a reference number. This was extremely vague and completely unprofessional. We responded to it and got their answering machine, to which we left a complete message. Not vague and unclear, not menacing, or with some joker trying to come off scary. No matter what the outcome, we will pursue action to stop these kind of tactics. As far as we know, we are in good standing with the few creditors we do deal with.
I just received a phone call with a recorded message about a legal matter and they provided a reference number. It was McCarthy, Burgess & Wolfe. I know better than to return these calls.
They are looking for a relative and because our last name is the same in the phone book, called here. They were calling about once a week with the automated request to call back about a business issue, now the past 3 days they have called once a day. I will be leaving them a VM after their business hours requesting they stop calling as the person is not here and I don't have any information for them. If that doesn't stop the calls I will call back & ask for a supervisor.
