this is a fake tech support number claiming to work with windows and trying to get your personal info.

Guy named John called with a heavy Indian accent, he told me my computer was being used and hacked into by someone. Riiiight... I told him I wasn't going to give him any money and he say "Go to hell you idiot". I replied in kind them promptly blocked the number. Sad thing is, they will call spoofing a different number and will have a new scam. I been to this Rodeo.

Unknown #; but since I am looking for a new job I answered it, "Was told "there is an issue with your Computer" .... Hmmmm, interesting. since I currently have no internet my computer is sitting on my desk in "off" mode. Told them to change what ever it is they were smoking and hung up. Call Blocked. Love it When People Think The People That Are Calling Are Stupider Than They Are ...

caller ID listed the call as being from Sweden. I did not answer and they did not leave a message.

Called... did not answer... no message left... CID exactly as indicated below. Area code is invalid/unassigned... tells me all I need to know... and reading a years worth of complaints confirms suspicions. The Windows scam appears to be popular at the moment... 3rd call... 3rd different number... in a week. If they're willing to lie about their phone number... what else are they willing to lie about? Blocked and forgotten.

Just received a call from this number - said it was from Sweden. No message.

The voice of an East Indian female with an American name. Telling me to "Go F**k yourself" I asked who this was and they said "satan, and that they are calling regarding my computer that they will shut down my computer" male Voices in the background. She was extremely rude cussing at me.

Received a call from this number yesterday for the 1st time. I didn't answer it and they left no message. But I was curious since I'd just purchased a new Volvo last year, and wondering why I was getting a call from Sweden! Glad I didn't answer it, and now they're blocked!!!!

Just an automated female voice that told me “Please die”

First call: he started the schpeel about my computer being infected. I hung up. He CALLED BACK. He thought we were "disconnected." I told him no thank you and hung up. He CALLED BACK. I gave the phone to hubby (retired Marine) who told him not to call back (but added all kinds of colorful language). This person then "threatened" to "revoke our windows ID and service tag" for "life" no less. We hung up. He CALLED BACK. I answered and hung up. HE CALLED BACK. I listened but didn't say anything. He called us morons (cute) and threatened to sue us (even more precious) because we were being mean to him he said. So far this year this same group has called us at least 6 times and we have asked every time (except this one) that they take our number out of their system.
