I got a call from this number on my cell. I have seen this number before, but could not remember. I answered it, but no one was on the other end. After looking it up I remembered that it is Drive Financial. My friend used me as a contact so when he is behind on his wife's car payment they call me. I told them the last time not to call me, because I am sure as hell not going to pay it. It is Drive Financial autodailer!

Maybe a friend/Family used you as a reference and did not tell you. That is what happended to me. I just called them back to talk about my friends case. I told them to take me off their call list because I could not help them. I lied and told them I don't talk to my friend anymore. If they can lie so can I.

Receiving calls daily from this number/company in regard to collection of a debt for someone who used me as a credit reference without my knowledge or concent. How can I get the calls/messages to stop?

called me abut my cousin's late car payment and asked me to contact them. My cousin said they repoed his truck in March. I called Drive Financial to tell them and they said they already know that.

Started getting messages from these people saying someone had used us as a reference, and please ask him to call them immediately. We can't--he died two months ago--but neither can call back to let them know, because when we tried to call them back at the number they left, it was answered automatically--without even a choice to dial the extension they had told us. The automated voice just demanded that we put in our account number. Don't have one. Now today, they wanted either our account number or SSN. No way are we leaving THAT! Don't trust these people. How can we get across to them that this person is dead? It's not our fault, or our bill--we didn't even know this person had used us as a reference.

This is from Drive Financial. It's an Auto Loan company. If you are behind on a payment (as little as one payment) they will harass you endlessly. I’ve gotten as many as 8 phone calls in a single day. If you’re used as a reference on a loan you too will be harassed incessantly. Even if you’ve paid the loan off (their record keeping sucks) you’ll still get the blasted phone calls.

This is from some business called Santander, or Drive Time, depending on which individual calls you. if you ask them to remove you, they simply get someone with a different name and area code to take over. I have reported these smucks to the ftc at least 9 times under 8 different phone numbers and business names. The FTC gives them a cease and desist and then they get a different company name to call you. Many times I answer the phone and they simply hang up, If my machine answers, they call out..."hello. hello...pick up, pick up. Never leave a message or call back number .these people use the most illegal collection tactics ever. And btw...I have no idea who the person is they calling for...AND I HAVE TOLD THEM SO!

I would like to hear more about your class action suit. I lost my job and we started making payments a little late, but they were always made. I have had it up to my eyes with them calling 7-10 times per day with no one being on the other end. they even called right after I made arrangements and made a payment. Not only that, both my spouse and I are co-applicants on the loan. When they are on the other end when I answer they refuse to speak with me because his name is listed first. They say it is a "personal" matter...and they go back to calling.

These people suck I was out of work for little over two years and was able to make the payments with unemployment money but the unemployment was cut off and I fell behide on the payments when I found a job I was still unable to afford the payments as i dont make as much now as i did before begin layed off So i told the to come and pick up the car two months ago but here it still sits in my driveway I have more than paid for the 2008 KIA Sorento payments at 561.91 per month for 24 months i was able to pay. I even had one lady from that company tell me I should have thought about that before I bought the car and she was rude. The last person who called me said "Well you will have to pay the amount left after acution" BS they can kiss my [***]
