I am ahead on my car payments and still get calls. I have been paying an extra $100 a month to pay it off for 2 years now and they still call me and my friends.

Seriously hate this company. I never had one issue with Citi Auto. I have had twice in the last 6 months since Santander took over my loan my payment posted to some other persons account. Is it not clear when you send in a check with the account number on it with a payment stub where is belongs. Plus they call bitching me out about past due payments I already freaking. I really hate this company!!!!!! I have had at least 12 calls in one day. you tlak to them and then five minutes later another flipping call. What the HELL!

I am filing a formal complaint with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) for violations to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, (FDCP-Act) Section 806 ( Harassment or Abuse) committed by Santander. I was making monthly payments to HSBC and suddenly, in March 2010, Santander started calling my residence and cellular phones. The calls are every day including weekends, which is another violation of the Act. I JUST BOUGHT A CAR AND THIS IS THE COMPANY THAT IS FINANCING IT...AFTER READING ALL THIS I AM NERVOUS...I HAVE RECEIVED PHONE CALLS FROM THEM AND WHEN I ANSWER NO ONE IS ON THE LINE...I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE ANY INFORMATION REGARDING MY FIRST PAYMENT...THE COMPANY I HAD PRIOR WAS SUPER NICE AND LOCAL. I WAS IN AN ACCIDENT AT THE END OF JUNE AND MY CAR WAS TOTALED...NOT MY FAULT..SO I HAD TO GO BUY A NEW CAR, I DON'T HAVE THE BEST CREDIT, SO I AM AT THE MERCY TO WHOEVER IS WILLING TO FINANCE ME....I SHOULD HAVE JUST WENT THROUGH MY ORIGINAL LENDER. THEY WERE RESPECTFUL, HELPFUL AND NEVER HARRASSED ME IN ANY WAY.

This number is from a scam artist. I had been receiving very threatening calls re my late husband med bills. They told me I would lose my children,lose my home, go to prison and pay an 8000 fine. I was scammed for $3250. Then one day I rec'd 3 calls from 3 separate people abt the same bill. They all have a very thick Indian accent. The last one told me she was a deputy with the state sheriff - we don't have a state sheriff in OK. She said there would be a warrant in 12 hours if I didn't pay a fine. I called our county PA and he told me it was a scam, there weren'r any warrants for me;I've never been arrested in my life. And they always say,"G, if you don't respond to this all I can do is wish you luck and have a blessed day."These people aren't even in the country according to the PA. They use prepaid cell phones. They either hacked or bought some files from someone and they can absolutely terrify you. And, surprise, not a penny had been paid on the bills. When I called after I had pd, the phone wasn't answered or cut off.

They use the name of a business as a front. When I told them I was recording our conversations for the PA they stopped for a while. They are rude, malicious individuals.
