Caller ID = 469-701-0053 INFORMED ELECTO -- Yes. I did answer it. But said absolutely nothing, laid the receiver down very quietly, then heard a man say several times "Hello. Hello. Hello." Then usual signal came on indicating that he had hung up. Why did I bother to answer this call? Because since January 1st this 44th tele-pest call. And like other commenters here, I too ma weary of receiving these calls. The DNC list is a joke and doesn't work. And they say if you answer the call, they will only call back again and again. I have a rule: Call me three times and I block your number. So. Block on "repeat offenders." They rest .... just have fun playing with them.
Do not answer numbers I don't recognize, and don't have an answering machine answer it either. After reading these messages, I'm sure it's a scam.
After receiving a call from 469-701-0053, I let it ring and then looked up the number on 800notes.com. Number is now blocked!See how easy that was.
