I did get a response when I picked up. The guy asked me if I belief that President Obama will protect our Constitutional right to guns. I just replied: He is a Constitutional Law Professor....ergo yes he will.Then I hung up. It is either a prank or a marketing center that does surveys for different causes.
Called my 89 year old Mother at 7:30 P.M. EST, 3/26/10. Identified himself as Ed Jackson. Ask 2 political questions. Then made the call more personal. Told her he was from MA. and lived in AZ. during the winter. From the questions I asked my Mother and the answers she gave me, I think the call was too personal. He said his Mother was 98, and talked about his family. Makes me very suspicious. It's hard to know who to trust anymore.
Just called them back. Recording said political calls are exempted from the National Do Not Call List but will honor requests to remove numbers from their list within 5 days.
This is a telemarketing firm for republican causes. They use people who are desperate to work. They hire and fire weekly and find lots of ways to swindle the bonus promised to the hard working employees. If they don't get pledges by the lunch hour they send them home, so that they won't have to pay them the hourly wage, regardless of whether they made their quota or how many pledges they earned the day(s) before.

Claims to be from a roofing team. Somehow knows real name and city. I keep getting texts like this from different numbers, they stop responding when I ask how they have my number.
