Ruth, you seem to be very ignorant. If you read some of these posts, you will understand that there is a number you can call to have the calls stopped if indeed you are not supposed to be receiving them. This is a service that supports the entire country based out of Kentucky. The name of the company that houses the VINE system is called Appriss. They simply provide the service for someone who signed up to receive notifications when an inmate's status changes. People need to quit jumping to conclusions that this is a scam, prank calls, or against FCC regulation. Grow up, do some research, and you will easily understand how to end the calls if you are not the intended recipient. Ignorance gets you nowhere.

hey this is truly a call from a victims notification number it regards mostly to sexaul assault victims and it is a true call saying your offendor has been released im one of the victims that uses this number and they called me today to say my offendor was getting released
