Answer and tell them they have the wrong number. It's a collection call for a Wells Fargo/Wachovia account in an attempt to collect funds for an insufficient balance. Not answering will not make them stop calling. Good luck.

These [***] called me a number of times with in two hours, when I called them back, same thing as everyone here, acc# & SS. Hung up on them for wasting my time with this scam. also reported it to WF. Hopefully they will check into it, but from what I read here, nothing is being done to stop them.

Called office again yesterday. This time instead of co. name I answered with Hello? Gee, interestingly enough I got some guy (who asked for a co-worker) and I just immediately started in on him - "funny how when I answer with the co. name you just hang up in my ear, this is a place of business and DO NOT CALL HERE AGAIN!" and banged the phone down. I hate stupid debt collectors. IF they call again I'm answering "[my county] attorney's office" AND reporting them every place I can.

My wife just got 3 calls in a row, we did bank with wells Fargo, we had a business that went under and am trying to pay slowly but haven’t worked in over 5 years now, we are only 2 weeks late on our bill with them and called and talked with them to let them know what was going on, told them we will pay in a week or 2 and get caught up, that was 3 days ago…they agreed to what I said and asked me to call if I couldn’t make it, we have received calls from wells Fargo in the past and they always left a massage so I believe this is a scam as again they always leave a massage!!!Just being truthful…we have always paid our bills just getting harder and harder, if you’re having trouble just talk to your bank…With any luck you will get a decent person…I’m no dead-beet…just having a bad run!!Thanks for this service!! It’s great!!!

This is definitely not Wells Fargo. I do bank with them, so I called a legitimate customer service number to find out what was going on and they said they are not familiar with this number, nor has the company originated any phone calls to me in the past few days. Answered once, and it was a pre-recorded "Hello" followed by a few clicks. Reported it by sending an e-mail to WF phishing department as well as telling the guy I talked to on the phone when I called. I hope these people are shut down at some point because this is driving me nuts.

this number keeps calling me nobody answers when I pick-up so I dont know who it is they call hours of the day and night 7 days a week

I keep getting calls from this number.. I answered and they said Wells Fargo.. They then asked for my Account number and Social.. They called me why would i need to give them info they already had..

People, it is Wells Fargo and they are calling you because you have an negative account balance!!! Hello.Call 877 647-8551 and you will get the same recording. Call Wells Fargo directly and ask them to transfer you to the overdraft department and guess what, you will hear the same recording that you hear when you call the (503) 605-8776. Yes, that office is in Beaverton Oregon. Damn hysterics has overtaken the lot of you.
