Dear "Actual MDC employee",Kindly go pound sand down a gopher hole. Your company hides behind an opt-out link which does not include telephone numbers(you are already disturbing me by telephone, why would I be stupid enough to give you my e-mail address?), does NOT answer return calls on the same line, forces online investigation to even discover the culprit originating your "beneficial" calls. In short, your company KNOWS it is irritating people and has gone to lengths to avoid being called in the same manner.Whether you work for MDC or RDD(same street address, different suites, imagine that!) I submit that your outfit is suspect at best. I am less than impressed by it's mode of operation. You are no better than a telemarketer, in fact, you are worse. Telemarketers at least have laws restraining them from being TOO annoying.

Sick of jerks like these hiding behind "research" that they know irritates the average Joe at home and even more if they call a cell. They're lower than telemarketers. Received a call ID'ed as "Mailbox" from 503-977-6714. No message, unanswered call back with the call back made less than 5 minutes later. Googled the number, got this site. Tried the contact numbers for both MDC and RDD(Different suites at the same street address, small world!) No answer, got a machine at one number.

Give them a call at 800-210-9983, their dime.

Called the contact number for RDD, 503-223-7166 during business hours(approximately 2:30 PM PST). Got a human being, asked if their company used the 503-977-6714 number. Answer was, "Possibly". Asked to be removed from their list. She confirmed my number and said, "We will remove your number from our list". Here's hoping they follow through.

503-977-6714 Called me on my cell phone on 11-09-2009 at 7:30 pm and wanted to know why i cancelled my vonage service, told him i needed to have a land based line and he asked if there was a way to fix that i said no then he hung up, fine with me :)

POS company, consumers who are receiving these harassing calls need to contact customers of this so called research company, and boycott any companies that do business with them, or perhaps call their clients at home, seeing how they like it....

Came home to a hang up call on answering machine. called 7:21pm
