unwanted heavy breather calls 6 x in 4 days

Called at 3:36 pm on a Saturday. I don't answer calls from unknown numbers. Let it go to voice mail. Did not leave a message.

Got a call from (503) 977-6714 at 5:30 ish... o.O and again right now. (Actually calling right now.) Didn't answer then, or now. Looked up the area code on google, and found this. Nifty. ^.^

Unknown number 503-977-6714 showed up on my caller ID but when I answered, there was a long pause and I hung up. Probably a marketing call even though I am on the do not call list.

GOOD NEWS!!!?I finally got fed up with this company and sent them an (not very polite) email. in part it says, "I would appreciate it if you would put an end to these offensive calls." A few hours later I got the following reply:Dear XXX,I have added your phone number to our DNC list. Called a couple of times -- June 9th at 5:12pm most recently. Let it go to VM, did not leave a message. Also called June 6th at 6:39pm.

Called me last night and today while I was at work. I couldn't answer. I live in Portland OR, so I thought that it might be someone whose number I do not yet have in my contacts list. But, there were no messages left. That's why I Googled the number. It looks like they've been actively harrassing people for a few years. Judging from the previous posts on here, I think I'll just keep ignoring the calls if they try again.

Poss. individual who runs various credit card/corporate scams. Beware!
