Just got a call... I looked up the area code out of curiosity! I didn't think I'd find a website like this! Very informative! Anyways, I live in Chicago, IL. No voicemail was left.
On my cell, did not answer.Why and how do scammers like this continue to exist w/o prosecution?Why doesn't gov't set in now before hundreds are scammed?Also how do they get so many cell numbers? Inside job.
I got Google voice 3 months ago and this call came in on that service! Didn't get a chance to answer it at 6pm. Called back and nothing...it rang 8 times then silence, the line stay active, but not a sound. Didn't leave a VM.
I got a call from them same Spanish with my little Spanish tried to ask and they hung up. Not sure a person or a machine

I got the same call. Spanish. My number is already on the Do-Not-Call list. That doesn't matter. The call came 8/17/09 11:12 AM PDT. Caller ID was (508) 575-6868 Taunton, MA. But the good news is that it came to my Google Voice number and I can block it forever now. Done & done. Get a Google Voice number and get back control of your phone number.
uhm... not cool. I am waiting to hear back about a job application. I should be getting a call from somewhere out east as that is where their HR offices are. I was at an appointment, so couldn't field this call... sounds like I didn't miss much. Although I do enjoy a "fast talking spanish woman" from time to time. I am in the 414 area code.

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.

Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.
