they called and then ended call. i called back but recording said it was a nonworking number. must be a scam, watch out

I had a missed call from this number today at 1145. No message

This number is still trying to get through as late as tonight. I did not answer because of the unknown area code.

My cell got hit with this number earlier today. Never answered. 780 area code here, Northern Alberta, Canada.

I too, received a call from this number on my cell. I did not pick it up, and of course no message left.

Also got a call from this number right after i switched numbers from being harrassed by other numbers. I think its weird that they are speaking in another language. Hmmm, I wonder what they are up to. Do Not Call Them Back, Do Not Answer the Phone and if it continues call Someone in Authority or make it known to them.Or call your congressmen or your representatives, and make them aware of what is going on. They are saying they are calling from rogers and telus but they are not legitimate phone calls.I think the fact that this number has been dormant since 2007 and is not active is as interesting as the language they are speaking inWhat did you say it was, Spanglish?Relax, Do not pick up the phone, dont call them back. That is what they want you to do.As far as them calling me, I know exactly what they are up to. People have been trying to se me up with numbers or people to hurt me for years.This one is so transparant.

This needs to be stoped

I have had 4 or five calls in the last few days. I have not been home to answer. Weird.

It's not coming from the USA - The number is actually from St-Pierre and Miquelon (508 is the country code, not the area code), which is a French territory off the coast of Newfoundland. I just got this call today - it said something to the effect of "Because you are a preferred Rogers client, you are receiving a special offer." I pressed 1 and it hung up.

Made two errors.The fact that this number was dormant for two years and now it is active doing the same thing is not kosher.I have had hundreds of numbers call me to either attempt to set me up by attaching me to a number that calls me, or make a person walk down the street with me or sit on a bench with me, to compromise myself, and they even have a body double of me going all over the place doing things to get me into trouble. Identity theft personified. The ultimate in identity theft, make a body double living another life. This goes beyond using your card just for money. Anyone ever seen the Net. That is what is being done to me.
