If you registered on the the National Do Not Call list before 2008 you should register again. When doing research on the national registery the time frame was only for 5 years to be on the list and then you had to re~register your number again. If you registered after 2008 your listing will not expire.

Called at 8:44 a.m. but I recognized the number from many calls before. Did not answer nor did the idiots leave a message. I called back as usual, a recorded message said to press one to be removed within 72 hours but that is bull s@@t since I have done that many times.

The reason a large portion of the people are having trouble with this number is because this number is being "Spoofed" by Delta Outsource Group, a collection agency located in O'Fallon, MO. They will try and gather enough information to create an account. Many bank accounts have been drained by this establishment and many "Spoofed" phone numbers have been fraudulently used to aquire information.This not only hurts people by the harrassment, but also hurts the establishment that the number belongs to. Note: Insight Services is affiliated with Delta Outsource Group.

This number keeps calling my house and saying they want to lower our interest rate. When I ask them to take us off of their call list, they hang up. Once they used profanity when asked to be removed. They will not take us out of their dialer.

Maybe Rachel's voice needed a rest (grin).I blocked their previous number, so they are using a new one as well.Same company, "Account Services", with an offer to lower my credit card interest.Also reported this number to the FCC, for all the good it will do. This leech of a telemarketer just keeps hangin' on!Yea, the "no call" rule needs more teeth!

Not a scam, just a pain in the [***]. They have been calling me for years, every month, no matter how often I tell them I have no debt on my credit cards. They are company that arranges payments for people who owe money. No matter how often I tell them to stop, and that I owe nothing, they call. Sometimes that say they will take me off list (a lie) or they just hang up. If you got a call, then expect one next month, and every month after, always from a different number.

I just got a call from this number also. The caller ID shows the phone number and customer service. Okay, customer service from where? I won't answer these calls either. Just let the machine pick up. They can call all they want!!

why are these and others calling me. I have my number on the do not call list and now getting more calls than before.

I got the same call from this # too. I connected with some idiot and when I told him to remove my # from his calling list, he threatened to punch me in the face.

510-699-9231Well, we're into a new month once again and this 'Grifter', as well as the usual old 'parasites' have continually called me long distance (this one, probably just an old 'leech' utilizing another telephone number from CA state) to my 'for emergency only use' private cell phone number. This unsolicited caller has called my private cellphone number repeatedly since 05/25/12! After having read similar notes from others here, as well as performing a numbers search, I've now confirmed this number to be a Verified SPAMMER (aka Grifter / Scammer) and probably tied into the usual Pacific Northwest (OR & WA) 'Mega Group' of Grifters/SCAM artists! You know these ‘call center criminals’, they're the ones using the (everyday American) first name (moniker/alias) such as Andrew, Amy, Steve, Sam, Sylvia, Susan, Tom, Theresa, Mike, Mary, Bob, Bill, or whomever 'running' a 'Gift Card' Scam, the ‘Home Loan Modification’ SCAM, a 'phony (generic) Survey' SCAM, the usual ‘Home Security’ SCAM, the well-known 'Cruise Line' SCAM, the 'bogus Political Survey' SCAM, the highly illegal ‘Microsoft Windows Security Specialist’ SCAM, etc. FYI...their only intent is to illegally ascertain your personal info for their own dubious purposes and nothing more! They’re nothing more than 'Grifters' (aka Con Artists/SCAMMERS) and should be treated as the criminals that they are!I do not answer/have never answered calls from numbers which are not listed in my phone's 'Contact List', but instead, I add them as a Verified SPAMMER to it, so that I'll know that such 'bogus' calls are to be ignored in the future...especially while driving. In addition, I never respond to nor ever return these calls, especially using the "press 1 to be removed" feature, as all types of calls like these are all just simply SCAMs and these types of 'Grifters' obviously 'don't play by the rules' anyway. Calling them back or picking-up the call only shows them that you are in fact a 'live' number and they'll just 'pass along' your number to other criminals for financial gain. I ignore these calls so that maybe after several rings/unanswered calls, parasites like these might hopefully and eventually drop my number from their 'Let’s See Who We Can Try To Rip-off and SCAM Today’ list…which is no doubt being shared throughout the world’s call centers (criminal ‘Web of Thieves’) each day!BTW, don't believe the 'trolls' here that tell you that you must have unintentionally added your name to some sort of list at one time or another, as I sometimes wonder if the 'trolls' I see frequenting '800notes.com' are in fact even legitimate posters at all and might just not be ‘plants’ by the SPAMMERs themselves? I have never listed my cellphone number anywhere nor with anyone and I do not use it to call anybody...except for emergency purposes only; i.e., medical, fire, and law enforcement; therefore, I'm assuming that SPAMMERs like these have 'tapped' into the various cell provider databases and are sharing your personal and private information amongst their criminal ‘Web of Thieves’?So, think the next time before you decide to participate in some sort of ‘off-the-cuff’ survey when requested by somebody you’ve never met before who approaches you in front of your local supermarket or discount department store. Think the next time before you decided to write your personal contact information upon an entry form and drop that information into some sort of clear Lucite container for some sort of ‘Win This Car’ or win this large screen TV contest, etc.! If you haven’t already figured it out for yourself, these are all attempts at solely acquiring your personal contact information which you have given-up so easily!Hopefully, with the new Federal Regulations just announced earlier this year r/e SPAMMERs (unsolicited telephone solicitors and/or 'bogus' survey takers), we all should (hopefully) be seeing an eventual end to these types of 'bogus' calls sometime soon...cheers. BTW, if you haven't already figured it out by now, the 'DNC' does not work! It's only evident that the majority of us here have already signed-up for it a long time ago and we continually report new numbers to them...to no avail!
