Are these people related to 514-800-9999 ? They call and have a recording that says "Please hole we have a call for you" etc. Like I am going to hold on for some telemarketing scam to come on the phone. I wonder how many people actually talk to these people??

BTW they use a different location each time they call but with the same phone number. Mine read "Georgia" today.

Received a call yesterday from them on my cell phone and also previously on the land line. They're wanting you're card number to do who knows what with. I was asked a number of times to confirm my card numbers. I then would ask them to give me the numbers and then I'd confirm them (not). He couldn't do it and the line went dead. Would be nice to put an end to this. Just wondering how many people bite.

Just got a call from them, they make it sound like its one of my cards and they rattled off six bank names. I told them I did not have any of those cards. She says that they represent 500 banks. I then got what was going on so I said "is this telemarketing?" [CLICK] they hung up. Then they called back twice more in the same half hour. Any idea how to prevent them from doing this?

This is just a call from "Heather" or Rachael or ????? again. Just spammers. Hang up.

This is a scam company saying they want to lower your credit card interest rates for making payments on time...I dont even have a credit card!! Report them! Do not give information -when I told them I dont have a card they hung up on me

It maybe because many don't know that they can call there Attorney General(AG) (s/he is your attorney) and report these calls. tell the caller that you are reporting the name and number

THIS IS A DEBT COLLECTOR. THEY ARE ATTEMPTING TO GET ANY INFO FROM YOU THAT YOU ARE STUPID ENOUGH TO GIVE THEM. EVEN ANSWERING THE PHONE TELLS THEM THEY HAVE REACHED A GOOD NUMBER.

Lots of companies ask for a number and info when you buy things. They sell this info to partners and so on and so on. read all paperwork carefully and refuse to give your # whenever possible I often give 555 1212 or 867 5309 (those who grew up in the 80's insert laugh here)
