Just received a call from this number. AM SICK & TIRED OF THESE CALLS! I just pick up the phone & hang up. Don't have time to listen to their nonsense. Tried blocking the number but they just call from another number. HOW CAN WE GET RID OF THEM?????

I have received calls from this number in the past and again today. I have a rule, if I don't know who it is that's calling I don't answer it. Leave a message and i'll get back to you. OH YEAH!!! you can thank your government for all the calls your getting now. They just released all moble phone number to the telemarketers. So if your not on the "do not call list" you'll be receiving a lot of them, and I might add paying for them if you answer the call.

As some of you said, when this number called it said "Fraud Call'. Is this the government's "cure" on their supposed crack down on these international robo-scam callers? In reply to whoever asked ...YES yes yes this is connected to AT & T selling numbers. I actually did a test on it! I got my first AT & T DSL service 3 months ago when I moved into the Wisconsin/Illinois area. With it comes an email address. I have never given it out to a soul, never used it, never gave it to even a close friend and didn't have it on my cell phone. I went to look at it a week after I got it just to see what the mail set up was like and I had over 500 spam mails. I have had this comp for 2 years and there is no way a virus or malware, etc, is on it, I work for a "big" virus protection company and trust me. I now get over 40 emails a day from a Yahoo address from a person whose account is obviously compromised and was agast at how many hoops Yahoo makes you jump through to report this stuff. I have sent over 15 reports and still this mail goes on daily. I have reported this to the FCC and even contacted a lawyer! The calls go from 7 am to well past 11 pm every day. Then I went and got an AT & T cell phone, which I'd never had (I always had other carriers). Within two weeks all these calls to my LAND LINE started up. I am unlisted, always have been, and on the DO NOT CALL list for both cell and Land line, which I have had for over 20 years with the same number. The second I stepped into the Wireless Land of AT & T the stress, harassment and non stop BULL trying to get these people and get AT & T to 'fess up.This is how our gov is helping us? This is selling our privacy to the lowest overseas bidder

If it says 'fraud' in the CID and someone else mentioned a CID of another number said 'don't answer' I wonder if they have a disgruntled current employee doing a little sabotage?

@ notgiven: Oh, I'm sure that's a big part of it. In fact long ago I worked for a major internet company that was THE only one in town to speak of (I prolly can't say who, but it was 3 initals and they sent CDs to you 60 times a week in the mail...) and they would routinely fire entire customer and tech support centers due to the hacking, abuse and selling of people's info. Well, too late then isn't it? They paid minimum wage yet you could sell the personal info of 100 to hackers and nefarious marketers for 3 times what you made in a month, and when you had access to a few hundred thousand, look at the money. In the last month I've talked to the billing depts. in India, the Phillipines, Costa Rica, Scotland, and Mexico. How long has the "Best Buy $1000 gift card" scam been around? And our laws 'can't touch offshore businesses because they don't have to obey our laws? They say it's not easy to shut these places down but it can't be as hard as they're making it look.

510-699-9231 also got a call with caller id FRAUD CALL on September 29, 2012 at 10:43 am. Does anyone have any info about this number? Have you tried to call this number?

Maybe you have something there. I have AT&T also. It's happening on my landline.

It is illegal for them to put your cell phone number on an auto dialer... Look up the fcc.gov and fill out a report so they can trace where these calls are coming from and sock em with a hefty fine!

Hey! I keep getting a call from this number, too. Just this morning again (10/16/12). I don't answer and no voicemail is left. I had an IT friend look into this deal. SCAM!!!! DON"T ANSWER THE PHONE AND DELETE IMMEDIATELY!!!

My phone is with Verizon, not AT&T. And I, too, have "won" many free gift cards and travel packages via text messages. Oh yeh...let me my bags packed! LOL!!! GEEZ......
