Area code 512 already blocked...Caller ID say Local...Not anywhere near my area; especially from reading the notes from above...
Same thing as many above. LOCAL call (NOT!). No message left. Called twice in 2 days. It is now blocked. Since the FTC DNC seems to be worthless, & my phone co. only allowed a Max. of 6 blocks, I bought a Panasonic KX-TG6841 answering system. Paid about $40 for it. It handles up to 250 blocked calls, with a very easy-to-use way to enter a phone number to be blocked. Works for me!
Received call today. Caller ID said Local and did not answer. Checked here and was glad I did. Putting on blocked number list.
Came up as Local with an area code of 512 which is far from local. Obvious scammer, didn't answer and I blocked this number now on my call blocking device.
