How rude! Some people use landlines due to a business they may have or they prefer a landline. And some people have both lines. Your response was very arrogant.

I bought a v202 call blocker from Amazon. Cost $85. The best money I've ever spent. Blocks 1200 calls. My phone is silent. You can block area codes and phone numbers. Took 30 seconds to hook up.

And your response was a typical PC, everyone has to feel warm and fuzzy, let's all get a participation trophy response. It was most likely sarcasm. Pointing out that you believe it was arrogant is pretty funny and clearly shows everyone else you don't know what sarcasm is. Now go back and find something else to get upset about and feel the need to tell everyone how you feel so we can all have another laugh in the near future.

Caller ID same as phone number. I answered and they hung up. Called back--got nothing--not even a ring. Will be blocked.

If you have an iphone you can simply block the number

Have the CPR CallBlocker. I didn't answer. This will be caller #95 that I add to my list! I've had the machine for less than 1 year! Ridiculous!!! And area code 512 is nowhere close to "local" for me!!
