The caller id said "Local" but area code 512 is not a local number for us. Left no message
My caller ID showed "Local" when this call came in at 10:29 AM; I am in Calif., and the Austin, TX. area is NOT local. Jerks! Blocked!
I did not answer, and after 3 or 4 rings, they disconnected. ID said only LOCAL, which area code 512 definitely is not.
#23 on my Call Blocked list! If they don't leave a message they are not important! Telemarketer! I didn't answer. Do not know anyone in the 512 area code.
Well 2 of my sons & a daughter-in-law live in Austin. But I know their numbers. Too many spoofed numbers and scam calls to answer even one number I do not recognize. I have 2 pages of scam calls in 3 months. Totally outrageous!!

This is a SCAM-Goes to voice mail and asks you to leave your SSN. The social security admin will never ask you to leave your SSN on a voice mail. Letter looks very official, but it's not.
