I used to get calls from these TURKEYS all the time until I waited for the CALLERID to display.Then when I saw TELEFUND INC appear I started to answer with with my NOT SO GOOD high school spanish.For some reason my high school SPANISH has helped them to call me mucho less.Now all I need is the real ZORRO and his sidekick BERNARDO (Disney ZORRO that is) !!!
I get calls several times a day too, My understanding is that this (Telefund) is one of a growing number of robo-call "services" that make calls based on lists given them by whoever you may have made a donation to. If you've donated to five places, they may have your number 5 times. Every time you make a donation you become vulnerable.
I tried emailing. Got no response. Now they're calling starting earlier and more frequently.
Telemarketing boiler room claiming to be from a charity I used to donate to. Of course, I never gave the charity my phone number. If you want to donate to a charity go to their website and do it. Better yet, go to their website and ask them to mail you literature. NEVER donate on the phone.
