I just talked to Macy's credit department. That is a Macy's number.I found out that with Macy's credit cards you actually have 2 accounts, not 1 like you think.One is called VISA Account Activity, the other is called REVOLVING.I thought I had paid all payments cause my Visa account balance was 0.Some charges were put on the revolving account, not sure why. Then they charged a late fee. I am paying this off and canceling my card.I don't recommend you call that number back. Call their 800 number to clear things up.800-545-1256.
This number is calling me 6 times a day! At first, I would answer and hear nothing except a short beep and a click. Now I just hit ignore, but it's getting pretty old...
We've been getting several calls a day from this number and (513) 754-9852 from "Macy's". I had both numbers blocked/screened through xfinity/Comcast and still got the calls. I called Comcast this morning and even though the numbers were on my list of blocked numbers I hadn't turned it on. So, if you have xfinity/Comcast as your VOIP Phone provider, *77 activates Anonymous Call Rejection and *87 turns it off. If you also have Call Screening (You actually entered an individual number) *60 turns it on and *80 turns it off. Good luck!
I've been getting a call from this number for the past few days. Found this thread and looked into my macy's accounts. I found that I accidentally scheduled a payment way past it's due date (doh!), which is why they're probably calling. I don't remember scheduling it so far past its due date, maybe there was a bug in their system? Anyways, if you're getting these calls, please check your scheduled payments to make sure everything's on time!
BS. I don't have a Macy's account and these people are calling me night and day, usually five times a day. I am on the Do Not Call Registry.

I called Citibank's other number and confirmed this was their Consumer Support number. It is legitimate. Processed the information they needed to verify my account. I originally thought it was fraud but it is real.

We receive calls at our place of business from these people every day and they claim to be with Spectrum. It sounds like a call center in India; noisy background noise and each person who calls has a strong accent.
