The question is....HOW DO WE GET THEM TO STOP????

The company HCL Tech. in India does indeed work for Macy's - that is not to say they have their act together. I had a Macy's account a number of years ago - it was closed in good standing. Every morning I have gotten a phone call from HCL Tech (in India) from 513-573-8028. I have repeatedly spoken to them to take me off of their list using that number and 800-884-9168 and 800-545-1256. It was no use and no useful information was obtained. Finally I called Macy's Credit Customer Service 1-866-593-2543 - after negotiating their VM queue using 000-00-0000 as my SSN I was given to a CS rep... guess where, India. Who informed me that my account was closed and in good standing when it was and told me that I should not be receiving any calls - they transfered me to another collection dept. that verified that I have no outstanding Macy's or Bloomingdales accounts and that I will no longer receive call. Let's wait and find out.

they said i was late on my payment for my bloomindales, well I'm pretty up anal about my payment and know when i pay them online, well first they said they were from bloomindales,then change it to macys. then i was arguing with them saying which one is it. then they asked for my billing and if this is my correct phone number and wanted my home phone, I told them I dont have a home phone and they got upset about that, I told them I dont know who you are and goodbye.suckers

Called at 8:00AM today; "Ms. Nash". Wouldn't leave a message (she asked for my husband).

I am getting calls from this number as well, never picked up, but its been almost every day since las month. Sometimes twice a day, basically when i am at work. THIS IS CRAZY.....

I received the same thing on my cell phone and at home.. They don't leave any messages and they call more then three times a day.

I'm in the military stationed in Iraq and I'm getting these calls - 5 to 6 times a day. This is harrassment! I wish I could get home and pay the bill on a charge card that I don't have. I may have my commanding officer answer the phone the next time they call me and I'm sure they will get an ear full!Happy Father's Day everyone.

I've been getting called a few times a week for the past few weeks. I have made a purcahse on my Macy's card a few months ago. (I never use my Macy's card, but it was a big purchase and wanted the 10% off). I paid the amount in full as soon as I got the bill. They wouldn't have any reason for calling me. I get the automated message saying they're too busy to talk to me and I should hold on (how bizarre... that is so rude, to call someone and ask them to wait!!!)

My friend also received this same call and they claimed they were representing Macy's and that your acct was pass due for a payment. They insist on her paying over the phone providing them her checking account number. She told them that she will gladly check on her account and that if it is indeed due, she will pay it in full online. The call sound extremely fishy for the fact they insist on her payment over the phone immediately. Why would a credit card company harrass cardholders when they can easily make profit from charging higher interests and fees. Watch out folks, this might be a scan.

I recieved a call from this number today. They didn't leave a message. When I called it back from a different line it had an automated message claiming to be Macy's Mattress. I have a Macy's account but have not bought a mattress from them. Odd Im going to order a new card and number just in case.
