Okay, I received the same calls all day day - why don't they leave a message. they really need to stop. since this is being posted, is anybody following up.
We receive multiple calls from this number everyday. They claim we owe on accounts that don't exist.
I have received calls also about 3 times a day. 513 573 8028. I have no reason to answer unknown numbers. If its important they will leave a messaage. Once they left a messag that I could barely understand with a different return call back number 1800-593-3926. How do I stop it? help. Please post the remedy or where to complain and resolve this unwanted soliciting.
Get calls constantly from this area code 513 - they are out of someplace around Mason, Ohio. Call all times during he day and evening. As for Macy's they don't seem to care where it is coming from and some of their own reps claim they don't know this number or they could be calling on behalf of Macy's. This is ludicrous I am in Macy's a lot and have never had a problem with my account. If they are from Macy's they should give our account number to us or some legal info. This is getting absurd. There are several calls from different numbers beginning with 513 that don't answer or claim they are collecting a debt of some kind whether from Macy;s or another account that we have which most people have the same credit with the different stores.
I just got a call from this # 513 573 8028. I had a $5 balance on my Macy acct which I don't know how it ended up there since I had not shopped in Macy in the last few months. They try to get me to pay over the phone so my account can be up to date. I can't believe it that they harrash me when I am working to try to collect $5!!!! I told him 3 times that I will double check my files and pay on-line if I need to but he just won't give up until I hang up. My suggestion is that never call over the phone if someone calls you. How can you tell if they are real and what they are going to do with your personal information!
I got a call just now on my cell phone saying my payment is late and I can pay online. I am late, so maybe it's legit? Strange, because when I call them to get info, the call center is located in India. Weird!
There are scam numbers - (513)754-9874, (513)573-8028, (513)754-9852, (513)754-9822 - calling me constantly claiming to be "Macy's". They are harassing me asking for personal information, acct#, social security# etc, which of course I did not give out.I've called Macy's corporate and Macy's has confirmed that this number is a scam and not affiliated with Macy's.I asked the scam people to remove me from their list and to stop calling but they continue to call multiple times a day. - This is against the law. They are ruining Macy's good name and using the brand name to try and con people and do identity theft. When you google the number you can see that there are other people in the country who are also being relentlessly harassed by this scam claiming to be Macy's.
I got a call (before 9:00 on a saturday saying I was late making payment to Macy's. they knew that I had two accounts and I told them I had paid both in the store and they said one payment had been misapplied to the other. i finally hung up on them and said I would call the store directly which I did. apparently the mix-up was correct and the person at Macy's said they would correct. Something is wrong with a store that has a system where you go into the store and specify which account you are paying and the receipts show that the checks were applied to the right account and then they are saying that they got mixed up and to be sure to tell the sales people which account. what can we all do?? The Macy's card went into the file -- not to be used again. When I called back later to see what the 513 # was, it didn't say a company name, just to hold for the next operator and to have your account information available.
