I received a phone call from this number and the lady called and said she was from United Healthcare. She asked to speak with my wife (who is disabled and refuses to talk with anyone from United Healthcare on the phone). The caller was fairly insistent claiming that the new HIPPA regulations require them to talk with the person receiving the medical benefits. Several times in our conversation, I explained that my wife refuses to talk with anyone from United Healthcare over the phone. Finally she believed me. After this woman realized that I was not going to help and put my wife on the phone, she said that she would just mail this information to my wife instead.I would like to find out exactly what HIPPA regulation (if any) there might exist. I think that this was a lie that United Healthcare made up in an effort to try to get me to put my wife on the phone.

They are calling people in my hometown looking for Host Families. I never heard of them nor do I want to do this. When i tried to explain that i wanted to my number off this list and that I would contact the FCC, her phone was conveniently on mute and she hung up!
