As per Audrey's message (25th Sept 2007):I called the number she provided (1-866-288-3608) and have seemingly removed myself from the call list from this number. I have just done this, so I'll have to wait and see if it really works. I hope so! We get fax calls on the second line (I work in an office) many days a week, and at lease 5 times back to back on that day. Really annoying!!!Try the number, couldn't hurt.

Same thing happened to us. Plant test pq! I answered and it was a loud beep! What is this?

getting fax calls from this number in the middle of the night

Started getting calls last night and it came it pvt. number, unknown number or 514-958-0000. Very annoyning. Who has found a solution to this problem?

Getting calls from this number for the last 6 weeks about 2-4 every week. I have a private number, and get no other telemarketing calls (If that is the intention of these calls). I am trying the opt out number, but per the comments,I'm not sure if this will work.

i have the same no calling (I'm in Canada) there was a message left, this is not to be concerned, this is coming from Quebec Tella Marketing. Hope this will help you Friend in Canada

Actually it is from some loser in Europe that has the ingenuity to use a Quebec, Canada number to waste all of our time. Just a loser with nothing to do, and no backbone. If they had a backbone, they would come out of the dark and show their weak selves to us frustrated receivers!

I also receive these calls, up to 10 times and hour and all hours of the night. I always think it's something terrible that's happened to one of my children. Today I got fed up and called my telephone company. This is what they said; it's coming from Montreal, it's not a fax machine it's a modem trying to connect to another modem, she can't trace it but recommended registering with the do not call registry through the feds. Also there is something called Phone Busters (RCMP) 1-888-495-8501 and to call them. There is also Canadian Marketing Association at 1-800-267-8805. I'm going to try all these and if I find out how to stop this I'll post it on this site. I am trully amazed no one has been able to stop these annoying phone calls.

For 5 years we have gotten calls in the middle of the night from a fax line. Last night we received 5 fax calls - between 4am and 6am. Freak! We do not have a fax line. I was able to catch the number on my comcast tv. How can we stop them from calling? I called 2 years ago once I received the number and the guy confirmed that he did not have our number on his fax schedule. Obviously he was lying.
