Calls every day and I tell him to stop frigging calling me and he hangs up - Indian accent claiming he is from Microsoft - I will not let him get past saying he is from Microsoft - I tell him to stop calling and he hangs up.
getting 2 calls per week. I call the # back & its a non-working #. they want to help you fix your computer that does not need fixing.last 2 times I wasted 7 & 8 minutes of their time. trying for 10 next time. cant believe they continue to callDO NOT DO WHAT THEY TELL U TO DO!!!!
I selected Call Type "Unknown" because "Obvious & Pitiful Scammer Loser" isn't one of the choices. Have fun with him, ask a bunch of questions, make him waste his time. Then tell him you own a Mac and don't use Windows, so he must have the wrong number. He'll get his due sooner or later.
Have called at least 15 times this month. I finally spoke to "Microsoft Certified Partners" today, which wanted to upgrade some drivers on my PC. I asked why he was trying to scam me and why they kept calling all the time. He said they were just trying to help. I called BS and he said I was just too thick to understand and hung up.
They called again after weeks of me not answering and them not leaving any message. Well, all of the other posters are right, it's a scam. The guy could barely speak English, sounded like he was from India, and he told me he was calling from Microsoft, but not the New York location as shows on the caller ID. Most of what he said was garbled in his poor English, but he did want me to download an app, for free, if I would just log on to my computer. I said "why don't we cut this short and I'll just give you my social security number, date of birth and current address, you AH ... your parents must be so proud." He hung up. That was fun!

Claim to be discover card. I don't have that disreputable card and haven't had one for 20 years, so they have no reason to call me. Very suspicious.
